@LudvikXIV: Thanks Ludvik. Early part of next year a DVD is planned on the life of Dr Hilton De Witt Girdwood and the stereo photographs that he shot during World War 1.
Great series, I really like your passion for excellent theme!
@Media3D Yes, I think there is lots of interest in restored quality 3d pics. Good job!
@alex: Hi, thanks for your feed back. these are the original stereo pairs and are mounted on card, because of age many of the stereo cards had deteriorated and have had to be restored. I hope they give some sort of interest to members of the community.
A fine capture indeed! How was this restored? Was it originally printed on paper or glass?
With remembrance day tomorrow (Nov 11th) its great to see these old black and white stereo cards and to be reminded of the men and women who served, fought and died for our country.
@LudvikXIV: Thanks for your feedback Ludvik. The wedding was last weekend (3rd Nov) great opportunity for photo shoot.
Marriage in Scotland? Nice car, love small round window, like boat one, nice!
this one is really good for a convertion. I saw you said you use alot of differant programs for convertions. I only use stero photo maker there is a dl link on nvidia's main site. But i tried a few others didn't care for them to much.
@Real3D: Wow! many thanks for your great comment. On a separate issue I have also noted the recent comments from yourself and other members concerning photo's on this site and while I agree with a number of issues that have been raised by yourself and other members it must be very difficult for Nvidia to keep a balance between good and bad photos, lets be honest everyone likes to believe their photo is the best.. Again many thanks for your comment I appreciate it.
This photo is wicked! Giving the viewer the full 3D effect both in front, the middle and at the back of the stereo window, there's a great feeling of being there.Pity there are not more images on the site like this.
Here comes super. Who ever took this picture did a wonderful job. It mist have had to been hard to do. My hay goes off to you.
Amazing Quality for such an old black and white stereo card. Awesome 3D
As a newcomer to Nvidia, I find ninety nine percent of the images outstanding, this one is amazing, I had never thought of trying this sort of 3D. Hope to see more.
Head's up - you may need to slick the swap button to view image correctly. Very, very cool!
