Description:

To celebrate the 500 years since the birth of Giorgio Vasari (1511-2011), Arezzo, the birthplace of the artist, celebrate the event with many initiatives! Our foundation is also working on this project: we have to photograph the most important places of Vasari in Arezzo now as they were in the past, infact we have a wonderful photo collection of these places with pictures dating back to 100-150 years ago! This material will be exposed to the permanent exhibition at the Vasari’s House in Arezzo. Why the title "Vasari Places 4D"? Because the 4th dimension is the time!! Giorgio Vasari (30 July 1511 – 27 June 1574) was an Italian painter, writer, historian and architect, who is today famous for his biographies of Italian artists, considered the ideological foundation of art-historical writing.
