jeffus wrote: @ LudvikXIV I used a 17-85mm cannon lens. It is a macro shot ,so most of the DOF was done in the camera. Howerver there I a fair bit of post-processing.
Media3D wrote: Great shot, but I think I would have preferred it without the white border. Never the less (5 Stars)
LudvikXIV wrote: @jeffus: Hi, nice to hear from you. Just fire as light source, as one may expect in baroque forge....
jeffus wrote: @ 3DVisionRulz Thanks for your comment. I will have to look into this problem. It just a matter of correcting the two images to fit better.
jeffus wrote: Your 2D to 3D conversion works very well using this painting . I will have to try this one day. What program are you using?

In the XUserOptions ini theres a "Video3DDisplayOption=0" that has no effect at all. This game will be gorgeous in 3D too :)
3dacademy wrote: Like the minimalistic but highly efficient work with DoF and stereoscopic space to point out key parts. Nice idea as well, happy easter!
LudvikXIV wrote: I like this one, could imagine good HDR here to emphasize paintings and 3D space, resulting on top photo!
3DVisionRulz wrote: Amazing colors! Not sure he out of focus element at top right works for me, personally, as it's a bit distracting. Just my $.02 - your galleries are stunning!
3DVisionRulz wrote: You should add the tag "Spring Photo Contest" to make sure it gets considered!
3DVisionRulz wrote: Interesting - a little uncomfortable for me to view though.

Only as one has come to expect Ludvik, beautiful girl, high quality image, and great 3D!

LudvikXIV wrote: @NVIDIA: Hi, the proposal for like a photo for anonymous sounds good, this is binary value. Members have much more options, I would consider this as good solution. Thank you Stephen, please keep up great work you are doing here for us, creative folks!
NVIDIA wrote: Hello all - yes, we recently enabled people to rate/comment on images without logging in. The reason for this is simple - very few of our members were making use of these features. HIgh quality images with extremely high numbers of views were getting very low numbers of votes or comments. The login requirements were seen as the main hurdle limited user engagement on the site. So, as an experiment, we removed this requirement. Honestly, I don't see the down vote impact of this - for example this image has 15 votes and an average rating of 4.9, which is very good. Feel free to email me at sklett@nvidia.com with specific concerns relating to this issue, with examples of where it has negatively impacted your photos if you can and we will re-assess. I can only encourage members to make use of the ratings more, and to take the time to comment more often on submitted images. Thank you. Maybe we simply enable non-members to "like" a photo, rather than rate a photo, which would require a new mechanic but would be relatively simple to implement.
