Description: The Nine Stones Circle dates from the Late Neolithic to the Middle Bronze Age (2400-1000 BC) and is comprised of a ring of 8 stones with the ninth in the centre. It was reconstructed in the nineteeth century from stones of local granite, although some of the stones have since fallen again or are leaning at precarious angles.
