Like the minimalistic but highly efficient work with DoF and stereoscopic space to point out key parts. Nice idea as well, happy easter!
Amazing colors! Not sure he out of focus element at top right works for me, personally, as it's a bit distracting. Just my $.02 - your galleries are stunning!
Only as one has come to expect Ludvik, beautiful girl, high quality image, and great 3D!
@NVIDIA: Hi, the proposal for like a photo for anonymous sounds good, this is binary value. Members have much more options, I would consider this as good solution. Thank you Stephen, please keep up great work you are doing here for us, creative folks!
Hello all - yes, we recently enabled people to rate/comment on images without logging in. The reason for this is simple - very few of our members were making use of these features. HIgh quality images with extremely high numbers of views were getting very low numbers of votes or comments. The login requirements were seen as the main hurdle limited user engagement on the site. So, as an experiment, we removed this requirement. Honestly, I don't see the down vote impact of this - for example this image has 15 votes and an average rating of 4.9, which is very good. Feel free to email me at sklett@nvidia.com with specific concerns relating to this issue, with examples of where it has negatively impacted your photos if you can and we will re-assess. I can only encourage members to make use of the ratings more, and to take the time to comment more often on submitted images. Thank you. Maybe we simply enable non-members to "like" a photo, rather than rate a photo, which would require a new mechanic but would be relatively simple to implement.
I know the feeling they changed the site a bit since i started posting pics. But i would prefer a member vote or comment and not just some annoymous person to rate my photos that could be somebody that doesn't think about how hard some of this can be. Also the community section would be nice to have like it use to and the people i follow were at the bottom again that was great. I didn't have to search for things.
NVIDIA,@Dianne: Agree with Dianne, I am always prepared to hear criticism, what to improve, but anonymous openness of this site is against such a share leading to better content submissions. Thank you !
NVIDIA: STOP THIS ANONYMOUS VOTING! Again a number of photos have been down graded by this phantom voter(s) you should not be able to vote unless you sign in!!!!!!
Refreshing spring atmosphere breathes from this photo, splendid colors, fine model and 3D space!
3dacademy,joeping,Media3D, ruthvolna: Thank you for very kind feedback! Very much appreciated.
Very interesting DOF utilization, nice use of DP3 50mm (APS-C) 2.8 lenses.
@Stuart: Hi, thanks, nice to hear from you this is some kind of my research around new technology and this new sensor is exciting. In contrary to existing sensors, there are 3 sensors for each RGB color, so no moire, color calculation but true RAW for each color, exact color reproduction, amazing. Developed originally by Mr.Merill and Foveon, then aquired by Sigma. Each sensor layer is accesible according its wavelength. Attached software woars above RGB RAW and posibilities to edit RAW like addtional sensor highlight are total differentiator from the existing flows. Planning to post more pictures from my reseach!
nice work i had a similiar idea but never got around to doing it. I am sure this is better then what i was thinking thou. Always good work man
@Biegfried, Media3D: thank you to join me here, I would like to share also taste of white Palava vine, so far the best one. Here found current 3d stereoscopic technology features not sufficient...
Yesterday I visited my lovely place Sirotci castle at Palava, South Moravia, tried to catch miracle of sunset here. This is going to be tradition for me, see more shots from the location in my Historical reminiscences. On March 2012 we did here Trojan Warrior series, pretty nice weather also for models.. Magic of the location worked again and I wanted to bring a bit with my stereophotos.
Nice one Ludvik, I like how you've used monochrome to give that old Hollywood style look to the image!
Interesting composition, depends on my imagiation I could see John Lennon from Abbey Road, but rustic expression dominates and I would like to listen the sount out of the pipe!
@alex : Thank you Alex! Nice to hear from you again!
@AirplaneChaser: nice to hear it, thanks! Also thanks to 3dacademy!
Very sensitive selection of photos, nice stereoscopic layout of fields in space and unification of differences by subtle coloring, great work!
@Dianne: Hi Dianne, Thanks for your very nice comment. It's a great honor when you read comments like yours and from other members. With professional pictures taken by Ludvik, certain backgrounds just scream out to be mixed in with that image. I hope my association with Ludvik will continue for many years to come and as a team can display many more pictures.
Nice budoir photo, stunnig model with wonderful eyes!
@Dianne: Thanks Dianne, I guess also Media3D is very proud of your comment, right Stuart?
Wow! where do you get your ideas from? each picture is so different and so refreshing, can't wait to see the next one.
Hello Dianne and friends, thank you, would like make you sure we did not stopped work with Media3D in order to bring you some new work, again, big thanks!
You have some really outstanding pictures in your collection! can we look forward to seeing more?
Dianne, ruthvolna,Real3D,3dacademy: thank you , I appreciate your feedback for our teamwork with Media3D, this encouraged us to next levels of inspiration!
@RaptorRed: thank you, glad you visited my Historical reminiscences series, I have some not yet published photos for this series, so stay tuned!
I like this one a lot and much prefer it to the pop out version.
I agree with the other comment about "pop out" effect. It forces an uncomfortable adjustment on the viewer to make sense of the image. Still, great image otherwise.
