Description: An old vintage stereoscope from a time much forgotten. I have a big stack of cigarette card left and right images for it that slot into the holder at the back. The images have faux colour on them and they work pretty well considering the age. It always surprises people to learn how long stereoscopy has been around and that it was more prolific than monoscopic photography during some parts of the 19th century. This antique also doubles up as an iPhone side-by-side stereoscopic viewer, just by placing the iPhone where you would normally place the stereograms.
