Description:
This is a 3D image constructed from the left and right navigational cameras on the Curiosity Mars rover at 07:06:01 UTC on Sol 2. Note the original images are grayscale but the colour map has been altered to mimic the Martian surface. Original images credited to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl).
