Description: Instead of returning via the forested valley from the Little Yoho backcountry campsite, there are two higher route options: 1) the Iceline Trail and 2) the Whaleback Ridge. The Iceline Trail is a well trodden path of about 11 kms whereas the Whaleback Ridge requires a bit of route finding at the far end. Having hiked both routes now, I'd highly recommend the higher Whaleback option for some of the finest views on a ridge-walk in the Canadian Rockies!
