Great rendering!
Refreshing spring atmosphere breathes from this photo, splendid colors, fine model and 3D space!
3dacademy,joeping,Media3D, ruthvolna: Thank you for very kind feedback! Very much appreciated.
@Real3D:
@Real3D: Thanks for the great feedback and your interest in what programs are used to convert the images. I use two programs, Bas-relief from Stereo-Pro ( to generate the 3D depth map on each element of the picture) and Adobe elements (PSD) to assemble and create the separate layers
Amazing shot, reminiscent of the old view master reels! How far apart were your cameras to achieve the depth in your photo?
thanks -- the photo was taken with one camera using the interval 3D shooting. I think it was 5-second delay between the two shots... so for the (estimated) airplane speed of 500mph (800km/h), the stereo base (lens separation) was around 0.7 miles (1.1 km).
thank you, guys...
to take this shot, I was waiting until the last seconds of the golden hour :)
thank you, espantaz, and sorry for the late response. this photo was shot with Fuji W3 camera. I used a tripod with level, set the self-timer to 10 seconds, pressed the shutter button, jumped in front of the camera and started a snow fight !-)
Very interesting DOF utilization, nice use of DP3 50mm (APS-C) 2.8 lenses.
Proposal for NVIDIA: mixture of the 3D content under wording photo here on site sentences, what about more accurate and universal 3D stereoscopic picture?
Nice work, advantage of CGI here is well documented, just imagine yourself in front with camera to achieve THE REAL PHOTO, guess shark will win a really good stereoscopic rig as bonus to sushi from stereographer....Nice eye candy!
Actually, without glasses, that's a perfectly rounded ass behind some trees, covered by some kind of... gas
Very nice conversion/CGI series, Stuart, perfect stereo as usual from your side!
@Stuart: Hi, thanks, nice to hear from you this is some kind of my research around new technology and this new sensor is exciting. In contrary to existing sensors, there are 3 sensors for each RGB color, so no moire, color calculation but true RAW for each color, exact color reproduction, amazing. Developed originally by Mr.Merill and Foveon, then aquired by Sigma. Each sensor layer is accesible according its wavelength. Attached software woars above RGB RAW and posibilities to edit RAW like addtional sensor highlight are total differentiator from the existing flows. Planning to post more pictures from my reseach!
well these shots were difficult i had fish line wired up to make the clothes look like they were comeing off her or going on. But in china the rooms are so small like a prison cell some places and i had a hard time getting the right angles. The lighting could have been better but i only have so many resources to work with. I didn't photoshop alot of this either just a few spots the line showed.
How do you find the w3. I picked one up and love it but its very sensitive to certain conditions. Shooting into a window will always darken in the foreground and blowout the image in the background. Taking the individual L and R images can help in tight areas/close ups to an extent but the subject needs to be static during the shots. Over all nice model and good shoot. Thanks
alot of people that want to view it can't 3d is not a standard yet and the wiggle option is the next best thing. but i don't have ideal conditions in china to shoot all the time
@Stefan: yeah, working great, only the crosshair have some issues on higher depths but from the looks of things its being fixed by the devs. Read the forums for nvidia fixes ie turn tessellation off, revert back to older drivers if you encounter your game crashes until nvidia release new drivers optimized for this.
Hows that Game working with 3dvision? Has it good quality in stereo3d?
A beautiful picture in 2D but it certainly comes to life in 3D. Well done!
Interesting idea but the lighting is not good - much too dark in foreground. And why would we want wiggle option on this site when it's made primarily for 3D Vision users, and this is a far superior viewing option than wiggle, which gives me a headache.... ;-)
http://phereo.com/image/51321bfc5ec3467719000002 looks good with wiggle don't know why 3dvisionlive.com doesn't have that option but phereo does

i will keep that in mind more the problem in china is the rooms are very small normaly it was hard to get some of these to look that good with the range i have to work with and the 3d. I mean back against the wall with alot of these you know. But i tried to get them to work as best i could. Always good to hear from you and your right i should work on lighting a bit in these situations.
Hi Gwar, you got nice model. My 5 cents - use better light from the windows for your model , try to catch light game on her ...
